Bio-based packaging alternative to the plastic bag
In search of bio-based packaging alternatives to plastic, we planned to produce a compostable and resealable all-purpose bag in 2020. To solve the production and material-related challenges, we used the resource efficiency consulting services of Effizienz Agentur NRW. As part of the "Mittelstand Innovativ" project, for example, recipe components were tested.
At the end of the process, we received our compostable and resealable all-purpose bag, which achieved Keimling certification. The Keimling is a nationally and internationally recognized mark of industrial compostability from the European Bioplastic e.V..
